Tibet 2007 Update

Back to Everest! Hey everyone, I just wanted to give a quick update on the upcoming trip. Everything is moving along nicely and it's quickly getting to be time to leave. April 1st to be exact!

I've set up a new website specifically for this new adventure. You can find it at http://tibet2007.therestofeverest.com. It will have all kinds of blog entries from our travels as well as audio dispatches in real time from my satellite phone. These dispatches will also be the basis of a companion podcast called The Rest of Everest: Tibet 2007.

If you would be interested in subscribing to the new show, then itunes users can click here, or you can simply visit the new website for the RSS feed if you use a different podcatcher.

Either way, there will be all kinds of interesting material there to tide you over until I return and pick back up with episode 42 of The Rest of Everest.

In this week's update video, I show a video about two climbers who will be attempting Everest to raise awareness for lung cancer research. Their names are Justin Hewitt and Brian Oestrike. Back to Everest!

On April 1st, 2007 I'll be returning to Kathmandu and eventually Everest Base Camp to check in with some new teams and to generally have a new adventure. I am so grateful to all of you who have supported me and my little experiment in this new medium: podcasting.
